VELCRO with J-Hook: Rough hook side only. Sticks to the soft loop surface already on your gear.

Best For: Tactical gear, backpacks, hats already with the soft surface side.

VELCRO with Soft Side: Includes both hook & Loop (like a full CELCRO set).

Best For: If your item doesn't already have the VELCRO soft surface.
