The Children’s Museum Houston is a memorable and interactive kids museum located in the heart of the Houston Museum District. Currently, they are offering virtual events such as a Facebook series called “Geek Out Live” where kids can learn fun science experiments at home! The Children’s Museum Houston is dedicated to transforming its community by providing learning resources to the kids in the Houston area.

The Japanese Garden is a serene garden within the Houston Hermann Park. It’s full of beautiful and lush greenery. There are even cherry trees as a symbol of Japan’s gift to the United States in the early 1900s. This garden is the perfect place for a relaxing Sunday stroll! Plus, it’s free to attend!

Put your cowboy boots on for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! It originally began in 1932 and now occurs every spring. It is the largest of its kind! From livestock shows, local shopping, concerts, carnivals, and turkey legs, it is a Houston must-see!
